My final hours in Japan

I have an hour and a half until I get on the plane to return to Hong Kong. My trip to Japan is almost at a close ;_; but nevertheless I had a blast and I am going to try and come back sometime in December. Next time… Tokyo or Hiroshima.

Anyway, I was is Japan for about 4 days in total. I arrived in Osaka at 2:10 AM on Sunday October 16th and I’m leaving at 4:20 PM on Wednesday October 19th. I have had so much fun and have had quite the experience.

This will be a short little excerpt and teaser for stories to come. I plan on doing a 4 or 5 part series about my time in Japan. I definitely have enough to talk about to fill that many posts.

All you need to know at the moment is the amount of preparation I did for this trip was a little more than the preparation I do before I leave for class in the morning. It was completely shot from the hip and I am extremely glad that I did that. It gave me an amazing amount of freedom and a sense of liberation from the shackles we all call time constraints.

One of thousands of pictures I took during my stay. This is the thousand Buddha statue temple in Kyoto Japan. This isn’t even one of the best shots either.

I’ve come to love flying, it was always seen to me as a luxury. Something I could not partake in because of my income level. Now that I am in Hong Kong and so many flights are coming and going regularly, the price is within my range and it fills me with happiness and an ever broadening sense of adventure and discovery.

Anyway, I’m starting to ramble. In the coming days I will be posting about each day of my stay in Japan. I have some really good stories. A little teaser…

I arrived in Japan at 2 AM with no internet, no cell phone coverage, and no sense of direction. 0_0

I hope you all enjoyed! Have a wonderful day!

Looking forward to reading your stories. One of my life long dreams is one day to travel to Japan or another Asian country, because I absolutely love the culture. I haven’t gotten around to it yet, but there will definitely come a time some day. Anyway:great post 😀

Asia is an amazing place to visit. Make sure to brush up on all the languages. The language barrier is a lot harder to get over in Asia than I first expected. Thanks for the input. I love the feedback! 😊

Going to Japan is at the top of my bucket list too, I’d love to actually visit Akihabara after seeing it in so many anime.

If I get the chance to go again, if my finals line up just right. I’m gonna go there.

Sounds amazing to travel to a different country and just see where the journey takes you each day, but I think if I tried that I’d just be wandering around aimless and lost for the whole trip! Looking forward to reading about your visit 😊
