This might contradict my opinion about best girl that I chose this year, but my waifu from the year is probably the same as at least 50% of the anime community. So I’m planned to fight all of you to the death! My Waifu from this year is Rem for Re:Zero. Shocker? I doubt it.
I still haven’t finished Re:Zero but from what I’ve seen so far, Subaru doesn’t deserve her happiness and I am the sole man alive to give her the perfect life she so truly deserves. If she is that protective of a man who doesn’t even love her back, it’s time for me to step in and take over. Rem will barely realize he’s gone.
I’m not sure if I really need to explain why I chose Rem but I will anyway. Her loyalty is brilliant! She has an unwavering loyalty to Subaru, I like that a lot, it keeps me from worrying that she will cheat on me (and is also a reminder to never cheat on such a lovely person either). She’s just the perfect height, I love short girls. At the beginning she was more of a tease and now she has opened up a lot more. The development shown to us has made her a really enjoyable character. Was any of that even coherent?
