50 Followers!!! Update

It’s happened!!! It’s finally happened! I’ve been waiting for it for the past two weeks! I’ve finally reached 50 followers on WordPress! Thank you all so much! What a great gift from you all right before I leave for a 12 day vacation! You all are amazing.

I have some updates and announcements to make.

First off, I am still doing the #12daysofanime . This is just going to go up right before it starts. I have all of them pre-written and on schedule to be uploaded each day. I just hope they will upload on time. I will be spending my last two weeks of my study abroad semester in the warm tropical climate of Thailand. It’s gonna be a crazy experience filled with Buddhist temples, dangerous motorcycle riding, cliff jumping, eating exotic foods (like tarantula and scorpion), meditation, and so much more! It’s gonna be lit!

As I have probably said a thousand times on twitter and in posts, I will be returning back to the states on the 26th of December. It’ll be my first Christmas away from my family. Good practice for when I really do move away and start my business. I don’t hold any real attachment to Christmas anymore, so not being home for it doesn’t really bother me too much. Regardless, that means my dream semester full of stress and anger towards my administrators but also full of experiences I can’t thank them enough to have allowed me to have will be coming to an end. But that also means I will be back in the United States, where there are no restrictions on watching anime.

So starting on the 28 of December I will be taking about 2 or 3 weeks off of blogging to recover from jet lag, catch up with all my family and friends, prepare for the upcoming semester, and catch up on some anime watching. If I really feel like blogging, I will but don’t expect anything more than a post or two to come out of those 2 or 3 weeks I’m taking off. I’m gonna finish some shows I’ve put off and finally finish my review of them. I’ll get a couple blog posts written up in advance to post when I’m ready.

Fits my expression when I hit 50 followers perfectly!

I recently bought another battery for my camera along with another memory card. You know what that means? I will be filming everything in Thailand, everything. During my 2 or 3 weeks I’m taking off, I will be editing that video and hopefully starting a YouTube channel and uploading it! With how much I plan on filming, it will most likely be a multiple part video. I’m also gonna try and edit some of the other videos I shot elsewhere. I’m not gonna rush but know this, I will upload them and they will be awesome!

As the cliche saying goes, “new year, new me.” So in that fashion I am going to organize a structured upload schedule with weekly ongoing posts, like flashback Friday where I talk about an older anime or something like that. In February, will be my 1 year anniversary of this WordPress blog! I’ve already started thinking about what I’m going to do or talk about. I might share something about myself or something completely different. I’m not sure yet.

Anyway, once again thank you all so much. you guys have really brightened up my days when I was really feeling down in the dumps. Just a comment on my post was enough for me, now I’m slowly starting to get comments on all of my posts. People are even looking forward to my posts being uploaded! It’s something words cannot explain. I hope you will continue to follow me as I continue on my anime and life journey.
